SUMMER 2025
Singing Skills Workshops (for adults)
Would you like to keep your singing voice in shape over the summer or explore healthy vocal techniques? Are you interested in learning how to sing for the first time?
These Singing Skills Workshops are for any adult singer who would like to explore vocal techniques in a group setting regardless of previous singing experience.
Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 6:30-8:00pm

You can attend one or both of the workshops as the skills explored will be based on the needs of the singers present. The workshops need a minimum of 5 singers to run since the instruction is based on group singing; however, each singer will be invited to sing alone to further explore individual growth (max 15 singers).

Suggested donation to participate is $20 for each workshop, which will help fund Consonare's programs for the 2025-26 Season. Held at First Church of Christ in Mansfield (corner of Rt. 89 / Rt. 195)
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Sarah Kaufold currently serves as Artistic Director to Consonare and conducts three of the choirs. Although conducting is her practice, voice is her primary instrument and teaching others to sing is her passion. Sarah holds a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Choral Conducting, and is beginning a doctoral program in conducting this fall. She has held a small vocal studio for many years and has studied vocal pedagogy throughout grad school, as well as received training in group vocal pedagogy at the Center for Group Vocal Pedagogy and Research with Dr. Amelia Bigler.
