About the event
A recent audience member described Concinnity’s sound as “healing.” Why does music move us to tears or give us chills? Through exquisitely crafted choral sound that spans the spectrum of emotions, Voices of Concinnity will take the audience on an exploration of how music affects us by performing iconic choral works, such as Herbert Howell’s Requiem and Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere mei, and new choral pieces destined to thrill composed by Sarah Rimkus, Moses Hogan, Kerensa Briggs, Edie Hill, Joshua Shank, and more. In addition to Concinnity’s signature healing harmonies, there will be an interactive component for those interested in learning more about the connection between music and our feelings. Concinnity has crafted this special program to bring chills, thrills, and tears that leaves the audience moved, inspired... changed.
