Acquire valuable skills as a choral intern
Each year, we support early-career conductors and music educators representing populations historically underrepresented on the podium through our choral intern program. This program is free for the interns.
Our choral interns in music education work collaboratively with our youth music team to teach our youth choirs each week and conduct song selections in performance, learning valuable rehearsal organization and performance skills.

Our choral interns in conducting receive podium time each week with our adult community ensembles and receive conducting lessons with our artistic director, Sarah Kaufold. Choral interns not only gain significant hands-on choral conducting experience but also learn vital skills in leading rehearsals and running a choir. Interns provide support through singing and behind the scenes work.

As a non-profit organization, we have a board of directors that support our work in the community to help fulfill our mission of building community through choral music. We are currently seeking members of the community with a passion for choral music to join our board. Individuals with all skills sets are considered; however, we are specifically seeking for the 2024-25 season an individual with the fortitude to lead our fundraising efforts.
